When you were 15 months old (photo above), all we knew was we had this incredibly beautiful child with a wonderful disposition, an easy going personality and a smile that would make everybody’s day brighter. Here you are after your home haircut, happy as can be at the lollipop treat afterwards.
And now you are about to turn four! How can that be? You have such an entertaining personality. You are all girl, pink, sparkly, glittery, high-heeled, lip-glossed. You picked out a nail polish today and when I read the label to see the colour, it was ‘Princesses Rock’. You are magic!
Some days you cry over your curly hair… you want it straight and long. I love your curls sweet girl and I hope one day you will too (perhaps that lecture that stylist gave you today will help?). You have taught your mama many things (like not to give you home haircuts!), you have a wicked sense of humour and have a flair for drama. What an honour and privilege to watch you grow and become more of yourself.
