So today was Sage’s photo session. Sage is six months old and the sweetest little baby. I was emailing with his mom, Lisa, earlier today.. and asked if we could do photos of him in a bathtub. Perhaps I was subconsciously thinking of this gorgeous vintage tub I had seen on Sunday at Red Barn Mercantile? I told Lisa about it and she said she knew exactly the one I was talking about.. she had seen it too! Coincidence? I think not. So I go to the store, an hour before the session and see the tub is still there. It was waiting for me. I had to buy it. :)
Lisa had planned it so that it would just be Sage and her. Big sister Violet and dad were going to leave and go for their own little adventure. But I am glad they decided to stay… because I think my favourite photos of the entire session are the ones of her with her baby brother. It’s funny how you can plan things in your head and then you have to throw those plans away because something better comes along. :)
