I am a wife, a mom, a photographer.
I love good bread, good cheese and good wine.
I love sunsets.
I like a hot cup of chai in the morning. And in the evening.
I am impatient.
I am a procrastinator.
I don’t like clutter.
I want to visit Spain and eat lots of cheese and tapas.
I enjoy the seasons.
I wish we lived near the ocean.
I wish we lived on a mountain.
I like sushi, Thai food delivery and on-demand movies.
I like Brothers & Sisters, the Housewives of ATL (especially Nene) and Top Chef.
I don’t like horror or sci-fi movies. I like romantic comedies (the cheesier, the better)
I am a person who finds it very difficult to watch my children grow up. Bitter sweet.
I love to see all the new things they do and say but get a huge lump in my throat when I see a newborn and remember when my children were that little.
I am a person who wishes she could bottle up every single sweet word, every smile, every belly laugh, every single tear and save it for the day when I am old and my children are grown. I will always be mom first.
As my children grow, I try and photograph them… the essence of them. Not just the smiley them but the grumpy them, the sad them, the absolutely 100% full of joy them. There can never be too many photographs. I hope these photographs trigger memories many years from now.. ‘remember when she was sitting out on the trampoline because she was afraid the other girl would jump on her?‘… ‘remember when she looked out of the window and stared at the cars outside for long minutes?’.
