Happy New Year everybody! Hope 2026 treats you kindly.
Thought I would reintroduce myself. I am a portrait photographer based in Alexandria, Virginia. I have been taking photos professionally of babies, toddlers, kids, teens, seniors and families for the last 19 years. Technology changes, the number of pixels change, mirrors and mirrorless, analog and AI, sharp, sharper, sharpest. In the end it's really just about light and capturing a feeling, a laugh, a hug, a frown. As the kids say - it is not that deep. It is not about perfect hair and makeup and outfits and locations and pinterest inspiration boards. All that is extra. And often unnecessary. If that sounds like the kind of photography you like, ping me. Happy to be of service.
